Short bio: I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Houston, where I direct the Software Engineering Research Group. I obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Oregon State University under the supervision of Alex Groce. I received an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University, another master's degree in Computer Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Petroleum University of Technology in Iran. Prior to moving to the US, I taught at the University of Kashan, and Shiraz University
Currently, I work on techniques to improve safety and user's expereince of software engineering AI-assistants. My research is sponsored by NSF and IARPA.
